Before launching Waypoint, our founder spent 13 years operating a successful senior care company — building the operational systems, provider relationships, and clinical oversight structures that quality elder care requires. During the final three years of that work, geriatric care management became an increasingly central part of what families needed most. It became clear that this service — true clinical advocacy, not just coordination — deserved to stand on its own. Waypoint is the result of that conviction.

Every Waypoint Care Manager is a Registered Nurse, and that is not an accident.
Geriatric care management encompasses many dimensions — housing, family dynamics, logistics, legal resources — but at its core, families come to us because they need someone who can engage meaningfully with the medical realities their loved one is facing. They need someone who can sit in a physician's office, understand what is being said, ask the right clinical questions, and translate the answers into a clear plan of action. They need someone who can read a medication list and recognize a dangerous interaction before it becomes a crisis.
That requires clinical training. RNs bring that expertise. It is why we hire them exclusively, and why our families consistently tell us that the clinical foundation of our advocacy is what sets Waypoint apart.
Waypoint maintains a carefully vetted roster of experienced RN-Care Managers across Arizona. When a new client comes to us, we don't simply assign whoever is available. We take the time to match each family with the Care Manager best suited to their specific situation — considering the client's clinical needs and diagnoses, geographic location, scheduling requirements, and, just as importantly, personality fit. The relationship between a Care Manager and the family they serve is a close one. Getting that match right matters.
“Our mission is to give every family the clinical expertise, clear communication, and proactive management they deserve.”
Four core values that guide every decision we make on behalf of our clients.
We are led by clinicians, not administrators. Every service we deliver is grounded in medical expertise and governed by evidence-based standards of care.
Our only obligation is to the client and their family. We have no financial ties to facilities, providers, or product vendors — our advice is always independent.
We document everything. Families receive written plans, written summaries, and written updates. Nothing critical is communicated verbally only.
Most care failures are preventable. Our system is designed to identify and neutralize risk before it becomes a crisis — keeping your loved one out of the ER.
